Alaska Nanook Hockey Broadcast Archive

UAF's student radio station KSUA has been proud to broadcast Alaska Nanook Hockey since the 2001-2002 season. Combined with KSUA's webstream, listeners all over the globe can hear the LIVE action of every game.

Starting with the 2005-2006 season, KSUA began providing an audio archive of the game broadcasts. That season, we had the highlights of the 'Nooks beginning the season by knocking off the preseason #1 ranked team to spoil Minnesota's home opener, ending the calendar year by skating to their fifth consecutive Governor's Cup, and beating Miami on the road to knock off a third different #1 ranked team in a single season. (The archives from previous seasons are currently being maintained.) This season, you can listen to the 'Nooks beat #1 ranked Miami on their ice!

The archives include the in-depth pregame and postgame shows for nearly every game -- these are the complete broadcasts. Each broadcast is provided in the widely used mp3 format.
